About
Nathan Porter entered the solar industry more than ten years ago with the desire to help people overcome their reliance on fossil fuels. He started at Cobalt Power Systems Inc. as an installer eight years ago and worked his way to Solar Project Specialist, performing high quality and efficient site visits to discuss with clients their best solar options, before becoming a System Designer.
Nathan takes pride in the quality of his work, taking into account clients’ interests and style, to ensure a well-designed solar system. His work, which includes residential and large-scale commercial projects as well as carport and ground mount systems, perfectly integrates design and functionality – proving that solar can be beautifully and intelligently applied.
He attributes his success to his creativity, technical knowledge, electrical and solar production analysis experience, and drive.
Nathan is an avid traveler and hiker who plays soccer during his free time. His educational background includes a certificate of achievement in solar application and installation from the Central County Occupational Center and an electrician diploma from the Institute of Business and Technology.
